Aric Audio Super 211 SET Amplifier~ MINT condition with upgrades!

Up for sale is a brand new Super 211 SET with several upgrades in perfect condition. This amplifier was reviewed very favorably by 6 Moons, and the upgrades take it to another level. Inter-stage transformers are used between the driver and the 211 tubes which gives the ability to drive the amplifier into class A2, which effectively allows the amplifier to drive many more less efficient speakers. Audyn True Copper MAX coupling capacitors are used between the 6SN7s and the EL34 driver tubes. They are very close to the sound of a copper foil/paper in oil capacitor, without the fear of leakage.

The amplifier is completely hand-made and point to point wired at my shop in Massachusetts and features a walnut chassis with cherry inlays, and aluminum top and bottom plates with conical isolation footers on the bottom panels. 


This amplifier uses 6SN7s as the input stage, triode-strapped EL34s as the drivers, and can run 211s or 845s via the flip of two switches on the top of the amplifier, and different output taps. Output power is 30 watts per channel using 211s and 35 watts per channel using 845s. I will include a full compliment of tubes: Tung Sol 6SN7s, Valve Art EL34s, and a set of PsVane Hi-Fi series 211s and PsVane Hi-Fi series 845s, as well as the "slow start" valve damper diode (6CG3) and a pair of the OC3 mercury-vapor regulators. Two umbilical cords and a power cord will also be included. 
This amplifier will be shipped in two, large boxes with heavy fillers/liners of styro-foam to protect them. Note that the power supply alone weighs over 55 lbs and the amplifier weighs just over 40 lbs. Please feel free to read the review of the stock amplifier at the link below!
