Stereophile Class A+ Rated and Absolute Sound Product of the Year

"It's one of those rare, forceful beasts that realistically express the energy behind the music and proactively enable pattern recognition, doing so with beguiling ease and morgue-like silence. It also sounded uniquely non-digital. ...Class A all the way."
– Stereophile, Class A+ Recommended Component

"When you couple the Manhattan II's digital capabilities with its excellent analog features, you have a special component that should remain viable in both mastering and recording studios as well as in music lovers' systems for many years to come. That is value."
– Steven Stone, The Absolute Sound

Roon-Ready Network Card Expands Mytek Manhattan II into a High-Res Streamer: Reference DAC/Headphone Amp Plays Studio-Quality MQA, 32-Bit/384kHz PCM, Quad DSD256, and DXD

Born in a professional recording studio, and bringing both MQA sound and mastering-engineer sound quality into the home by way of the world's highest-performance Sabre 9038 DAC chipset, the reference-level MyTek Manhattan II DAC/headphone amplifier with Roon-ready network card for network streaming elevates high-resolution audio to edge-of-your-seat thrilling heights. While retaining the same chassis, power supply, and front-panel circuits as the award-winning original model, the Stereophile Product of the Year, Editors' Choice Awards-winning, and Class A+ Recommended Manhattan II uses a top-to-bottom-redesigned main board that yields substantially improved detail, resolution, and transparency. Manhattan II also features a built-in MQA decoder that allows you take advantage of TIDAL Masters and any MQA files.

The presence of a Roon-ready UPnP network card adds network streamer functionality to the equation, and plays files coming from your home network or USB card plugged into the device's rear panel. The card decodes bit-perfect 24-bit/192kHz PCM, DSD64m, and MQA files from USB flash, Roon, TIDAL, Deezer, Quoboz, and DLNA sources. Manhattan II provides conversion support from hardwired sources for PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz, native DSD up to Quad DSD256 (11.2MHz), and DXD. This incredible component also touts a whopping 130dB dynamic range, world-class analog preamp attenuators, a 32-bit integer Class 2 USB2 driverless interface, and the latest in digital connectivity. But that's not all.

Manhattan II's trademarked Femto Clock Generator reduces jitter and the noise floor to below-measurable levels. Bi-metal fabrication and two separate isolated power supplies for the analog and digital stages further contribute to performance distinguished by vivid realism, multi-dimensional imaging, standout purity, and impeccable balance. A high-current, 500mA dual-output, dual-mono headphone amplifier turns headphones into luxurious aural spas. RCA and balanced XLR analog outputs further expand Manhattan II's flexibility. A remote control, easy-to-upgrade firmware, and a two-year manufacturer's warranty pile on the spoils. So does its appearance. Reflecting the cutting-edge architecture of its namesake, Manhattan II sounds as gorgeous as it looks. The penthouse of DACs, Manhattan II will give you multi-million-dollar views on your music.
