For sale is a Top Wing Suzaku 'Red Sparrow' phono cartridge S/N S8101178.  This item was purchased on September 2018, has been used for approximately 500 hours, and is in excellent condition.  The Suzaku has won numerous awards from the audio press and is considered by many reviewers the finest cartridge ever made. From Top Wing: As the name suggests, the coreless straight flux method has no core material, and by arranging the left and right coils in a V shape directly above the magnet, the magnetic flux changes due to the minute sound grooves picked up by the stylus tip are transmitted straight. Disturbance of the sound due to the coil output lines of the MC type operating irregularly in the magnetic flux, and deterioration of responsiveness due to the long magnetic path length of the MM type do not occur with this method. In addition, this method ensures the same high maintainability as the MM type. The stylus (needle, cantilever, magnet assembly), coil, damper and all other parts can be replaced. This allows you to replace your stylus at a price that is one-tenth the price of the main unit.
