A Sky 40 Switchable (1:20, 1:40) Fully-Balanced SUT. Hand made in Billings, Montana, USA.
This is a Stereophile Class A rated device, as reviewed by Art Dudley. (which puts it alongside some quite unobtainable phono-amps!)

Manufacturer's Description:
Uses newly designed Ultra High quality laminations, lower inductance and superior sound. These transformers were especially designed based on tests with several low-output moving coil cartridges. These are very difficult transformers to construct and require a precision manufacturing process. The SKY has custom designed laminations and the inductance of the SKY is designed to match that of most Low output moving coil phono cartridges. In addition, the bandwidth has been extended a little further than previous versions.
The SKY 40 is switchable for 1:20 (26dB) or 1:40 (32dB).
Cartridge Output range for best results: between 0.18mv and 0.6mv. Use into MM input.
Built with new CineMag SKY (Blue Version) Transformers and gold plated hardware in a hand polished black powder coated cast-aluminum enclosure. All lettering is laser etched. Included: high/low gain C&K Brand silver-contact switch. All connections are Resistance soldered using the American Beauty system which avoids heat damage to the delicate insulation on the hair-like wires of the transformers
Includes full documentation and original packaging, plus a specially-made acrylic unit cover.
