Denon PMA-S1

Selling this beautiful, Class A, reference integrated amplifier.

• This integrated amplifier is rare outside Japan. This is the US 120V version.
• 60 pounds for 50 watts per channel
• balanced input, phono stage (MM), cool clamp style speaker terminals
• It has the same circuits, same output transistors, same no limit construction as the Denon POA-S1
• Dual stage output (UHC-MOS and Sanken MT-200)
• Preamp stages are isolated above on a single-dual mono PCB
• The PMA-S1 was never designed with a remote control convenience as the designers felt the extra circuitry would corrupt the audio signals and their goal of keeping it pure
• The extension in the bass that this amp can produce is incredible and its mids are smooth and mellow. The highs are agile, brilliant but not harsh. 
• This is a whole different ball game from the commonly available Denon amps.  It was a classic as soon as it came out of the factory.
