This is a five input switcher that I purchased to switch some 4K video in a two channel rig. It was never used. It has dual HDMI outputs and handles the current audio formats. The included remote can be used or it can be used with third party control systems. This is not a surround processor but a video switcher to be used with multichannel systems or as a stand alone unit. It could be used in a HiFI system when the addition of video sources is desired
