The Swiss are renown for precision, and Nagra is no different. Everything they make sets the bar for other manufacturers. With the need for an amplifier that would simply drive any loudspeaker load, the HD was born.
Using MOSFET field effect transistors they have achieved tube-like realism while maintaining the speed and dynamics of a full solid state amplifier. The HD's are biased into pure class A for the power band where 95% of most listening is done. Only at extreme volume levels or with ultra demanding loads will it switch into AB. Behind the amplifier section sits a massive 1600VA power transformer, followed by multiple diode stages and a complex PI filter. This keeps the voltage rails extremely stable so they can deliver fidelity at a level beyond many manufacturers designs. When you demand the very best, look no further than the Nagra HD.

CONDITION - Both amplifiers are excellent and came from a non-smoker, pet and child free home. They are in exceptional condition and sound heavenly. They operate perfectly.
SHIPPING - We ship worldwide with UPS, Fed-Ex and various truck freight lines. All items are packed and padded with care if the original packaging is deemed insufficient. We know how exciting it is to anticipate the arrival of new gear and we want your item to arrive in the same condition it left our facility.
DELIVERY - These amplifiers will ship in their crates, strapped to a small pallet. A commercial address or pick-up at the freight terminal are preferred, however freight delivery to a residential address can be done with an additional lift-gate ($50-$65) and residential fee. ($50-$75).
TAX - 6.5% if picked up in our store or shipped to a FL address. 0% if shipped outside Florida.
