Oswalds Mill Audio Slate plinth with SP 10MKII

This great turntable/plinth combination was recently traded in. The paint job that OMA had done was fading so I repainted it with high gloss catalyzed black urethane enamel. There was no damage to the SP10 body or the plinth. This paint job won't fade. The mirror finish does reflect everything so some of the pictures could be misunderstood to have flaws. No flaws, just reflections of clouds and shop gear. In person, it looks gorgeous. 

I completely went through this SP10. The platter bearing was properly serviced. All capacitors have been replaced in both the power supply as well as the SP10 itself. The OEM platter mat was conditioned so it is now as supple as when it was new. The speed strobe lens was polished. The 33/45/78 numbers in the speed buttons were filled with new white paint. Finally, the outer rim of the aluminum platter was polished(not too much).

The sound quality and look of this TT will make the new owner proud to call this turntable their own.

I can make a new armboard for your current tonearm if needed. The included armboard is drilled for a 9.5" Graham. If you need a tonearm and/or a cartridge, I have many options available to optimize it's potential. Let's talk.

As listed, this combination sounds very very good. Beyond what most "high end" belt drive TT's can deliver. If the upgrade bug should bite, there are two areas than can deliver a significant improvement. Feet & platter mat. That can be done at any time and with reasonable cost. So this system could be future proof. The original slate feet are included.

This plinth is HEAVY. About 110 pounds by itself. There will be two boxes. One double box for the plinth and a second with the SP10 & power supply. If shipping is less than $250, you will receive a refund for the difference. I get a shipping discount at FedEx that I will pass on to the buyer.
