Synergistic Research FEQ - Frequency Equalizer

Original owner from new a very early first generation SR FEQ. This low serial number (0045) has provided sterling service in my system but no longer suits my now fully treated and optimised room.

For those that are not familiar with what an FEQ does it energises the room and adds air, space and detail to all recordings and is suitable for any genre of music. One way to think of it is as a super-tweeter for the room (although you'll feel the impact just as much on the bass decade as the treble)

A little appreciated secret is how much FEQs benefit from careful tweaking to give their best. To aid in this the sale includes both a dedicated 6"x6" Symposium Segue base ($200 value) specially made for the FEQ and a custom made (and $300 value) US female to male Furutech FP-S55N pigtail power adapter so you can get optimum contact between the annoying wall wart power supply SR provide and your existing power socket or conditioner (the effect is anything but subtle). All you need is to add your choice of footers under the Segue (I used Symposium Roller Blocks for sale on another listing).

Condition is very good considering age -- there are a number of minor scuffs on the sides but the top plate is clean. Please see the photos for a closer look at the condition. For FEQs of this vintage the power supply is 30V DC and a suitable wall wart (universal voltage but US plug type) is included.
