small but nice sounding desk or shelf mounted speaker. They are metal box and so is the grille. There are mounting holes for brackets that I can add to box for a slight up-charge for shipping if desired, but they don't look nearly as nice as the speakers, and need some cleaning). The marks a the top and bottom are for the brackets, and is from the rubber fitting and not scratches, so it may be able to be cleaned off (I made it better, but maybe needed a stronger solvent to get it all gone). If sitting on a shelf (where you can't see the top or bottom) they basically look new. (the lighting made it look like the grilles have odd marks, and that the drivers aren't great, but the actually look almost like new). They were "the" small speaker in their day and often sold with a special sub as one of the very first sub/sat systems in the US.
