Description

Did away with a home theater set up a few years ago to get back to the music. I wanted to simpify, choosing equipment for its musicality. After changing some things and upgrading others, I believe that I am there, but this is always open for discussion. I listen to a lot of blues and acoustic jazz, along with some Sinatra and a whole lot of Allman Brothers. This system seems to do everything well. I am considering an upgrade with my speaker cable to either an AZ biwire(Satori shotgun or Hologram2 biwire)or higher quality jumpers than the stock gold plated plates.

Mdp0430, I love the satoris with my Soliloquy speakers. I had the Mat Ref ics first, using them with Kimber 4tc biwire speaker cables. The system sounded a little thick, lacking some quickness and control. I bought the Satoris in a single run for budget reasons (ie - wife) wanting to upgrade jumpers or to a biwire later. The Satoris opened my system up, lightened up the "thickness", but not making it bright by any means. I still think that it leans towards warm vs bright. I'm not sure that a perfectly neutral system exists, and recordings vary so much that it might not even matter. My system was put together for musicality first and foremost. I have always felt that systems that are too bright , while fast and revealing, get tiring after awhile. I am still looking into jumpers. The AZ Satori jumpers are a little pricy. I have thought about a used set of satoris to send to AZ to terminate as a biwire, but this was very pricy. There are many others though, Infinity Audio, Cardas, Mapleshade just to name a few. Hope this helps.

How do you like the sound of the Satori's with your Soliloquy's? What are you using for a jumper? I'm curious because I own the 6.2's and thinking of purchasing the Satori's and using a quality jumper...
