This is a tight / narrow room set up for all the wrong reasons with all the worst restrictions. It is a dance room - being a lindy hopper of 30 years now. The room is used to play mostly original 78 rpms and dance around with the misses. So there is a hardwood floor, mirrors on the wall, and lots of open space with no obstructions. The floor is sprung - so that's great too.
All that working against the system, it throws the deepest soundstage imaginable. The open baffles are 5 feet off the rear wall, but tight to the side walls. The room is really made for mono recordings, and the setup is the best I could get with what I had.
Most of the tubes are NOS - pre 1955.
