Loving it.  
Cary SLP-05 preamp with NOS Sylvania 6SN7GTA tubes is the heart and soul of this system. 
Mcintosh MC 312 amplifier.
Spendor D7.2 speakers. 
Sony HAP Z1ES digital streamer.
Cambridge Audio tuner.
Luxman D05 CD
Technics SL 1200 GR turntable
Lyra Delos cartridge
Sutherland 20/20 LPS phono preamp

    Great looking room!  Love your Spendor’s and lava lamp.  I have an original from 1969!

    I had most of the absorbers / diffusers before I bought the D7.2- except for the two tuned bass traps behind the speakers and near the floor.  
    I bought the traps to tune out some slightly excessive upper midbass and they did just that.  
    Love these speakers and system !

    Beautiful looking system.  I loved that Cary SLP-05 pre when I heard it.

    I have recently acoustically treated the space behind my D7.2’s and note a big improvement to the scale of the sound stage both in depth and breadth. Got rid of low end boom too…did you feel the treatment did a large improvement as well?

    Very nice room and system! I have not heard the Spendor but I have heard great thing about it. Enjoy!
