Also own a YBA Passion Integre and love every moment of it. Its been more than two years now and the YBA still thrills me with its musicality, inner detail and emotion.
This is one of very few products in my opinion that can please both fussy audiophiles and critical music lovers.
Thanks for the kind words. Yes,from everything that I have read about my speakers,I do believe I would be better off in a larger room.I'm in this room in my house since it's all mine-I am able to set the speakers and decor anyway that I like. I will try in the next couple of months to try it in a 14x23 room however I would have to make some compromises with my wife.If your interested I'll post my findings. As for the YBA I found it more refined and engaging than the Plinius. With my speakers (91db) the extra power of the 9200 was not needed, and I must say it wasn't that tough of a decision. The kicker for me was the store I auditioned the Plinius from, told me that they felt the YBA was the better piece-and they didn't even sell the YBA.It clearly was better than my B60 which I still love-just moved down into my kitchen system with some B&W 302's.I also listened to the Mac 6900-again nice but a little soft for my taste.
Simple ain't always easy as the saying goes. But your selection in gear gets two thumbs up. Interesting to see your comment on the YBA, it beat out some fine competition. Wondered if you feel your speakers would benifit from a larger room? Your space mirrors mind to some degree. And I have a window in which to enlarge mine, but I am uncertain as to whether it is worth the trouble.
