No issues other than a lightning strike got the original Furman. It’s good for power surges but not for lightning strikes. However Furman replaced it even though the warranty had expired. Shortly after I got the subs, SVS stopped producing the SB 4000. I’m very happy with them though. Bass-a-plenty, not boomy but tight and only when called upon. Good luck!
