Work in progess, never complete. The VRs seem to play best bi-amped. Currently using the Mesa Baron to drive the m/t and an Adcom 5500 to drive the lowend. Although I am pretty satisfied with the mids and highs, I think the Adcom might be ready for replacement. Both VRs are filled with 50# of shot and spiked. They are spaced approx 12 feet apart on a carpeted cement floor (finished basement). They sit about 3 feet out from the back wall, 4 feet from the side walls. The walls are finished drywall. I currently am using DH Labs T-14 between the Mesa and the m/t on the VRs and plain bulk 10 gauge speaker wire to the lowers from the Adcom. I listen to all types of music, mainly progressive jazz and classic rock on vinyl. Any suggestions are always appreciated.
