Nice speakers. Near wall speakers. This a first. Looks like a lot of designing went into them. I'll call Scan-speak in the morning.

just to let you know looking at the picture on the left side there is a door into another room which the relfection empties into and on the right side i have a echo buster set up for the first reflection. so even montanas have relfection problems but they are by far the easiest speakers i have set up and you can put them about anywhere you want.

wwshull

I want everyone that looks at Wwshull's system to note how close to side walls his speakers are. In general, we are told you can't put speakers that close to the walls without problems. The Montanas are outstanding. I have a pair (EPS), and can place them anywhere in the room.

Interesting stuff gentlemen. I am using 4 Denalis (3 in Mono and one in stereo driving Aerial 20Ts, Aerial CC5 center and Aerial 7bs in the rear, complemented with an Aerial SW12 sub. I have an Aesthetix Calypso Pre Amp, Aesthetix Rhea Phono, VPI TNT6, Sony SCD XA777ES, Lexicon MC8B, so I can assure you that these babies not only do wonders for 2 channel, but you ought to hear them in a complete 5.1! Entire system run in balanced mode with Synergistic Research active cables. Peter's amps possess the ultimate in delicacy and detail or bone crunching power!

Wayne,
I really like your system. I see you are also a part of the few, that really likes Sierra Audio gear. I too have the Denali monoblocks in my system. Most people I talk to haven't heard of them. I bet the matching preamp sounds great with the amps.

Hi: I'm using an Exemplar 2900 CD payer, a DeHavilland Mercury II preamp, pair of Nuforce 9SE V2 amps driving a pair of Montana EPS speakers (the original ones). Cabling is NBS and Marigo Audio. Cheers, Jeff L

900 watts a side

wwshull

How many watts are those amps? They sure look beefy! You need some Vinyl in there....great system!

same place you bought yours and kevin is still dealing all of this equipment. what did you think of this stuff when you had it and what are you using now

wwshull

Hi Wayne: Where did you buy your PBN gear? I used to live in Tulsa, OK and had the Denalis, SF processor 3, and Montana EPSs purchased at The Soundstation. Awesome equipment. Unfortunately, I had to sell everything off for financial reasons. Best regrads, Jeff Lazicki

That is some great gear you have there.

Is that the front door your system is blocking?
