Description

This is my first foray into hi-end audio. I absolutely love the system and would welcome any opinions on it! Considering moving up to a higher end tube amp and Maggies. We'll see. I'd love any feedback on my system. Thanks.

    • Raysonic CD 128
Gorgeous tube cd player with tremendous transparency and warmth. Dump the crappy stock EH 6922 tubes and you can really hear this piece shine. I have Amperex White Labels in the unit now and love them.
    • Audio Valve Eklipse
Teajay's review of the piece is dead on. Incredibly transparent; enormous soundstage. Absolutely amazing preamp in every way.
    • Odyssey Audio Stratos
Klaus surely knows how to build an incredible amplifier! Extended, with power galore. THis is the upgrade Stratos Plus model.
    • Acoustic Zen Adagio
I haven't been able to find the limits of these speakers yet. They have disappeared in my room and provide wonderful sound. They can't do the organ pedal well, but there's plenty of bass for most recordings!
    • Stealth Metacarbon
How do you describe nothing? Transparency to no end!
    • Acoustic Zen Silver Reference II
For the price point, this interconnect is tought to beat. Need to spend another 1000 to surpass its transparency, I think.
    • Acoustic Zen Satori
    Great cables.
    • Acoustic Revive 77 Revive 77
I don't know how this works, but spend the $400.00. You won't regret it. More natural sound, more lifelike, larger soundstage, tremendous imaging!!

Hi-
I was wondering if your adagio's are still for sale?
I have been looking for the black pearl finish-
Let me know...I would be interested!

Thanks for the response. I can't take credit...Teajay, a longtime audiophile, has been my guru! But I've started to develop my own tastes and ear! Check his system out here on Audiogon - The Sound of Jazz.

I was surfin' the 'gon - curious about the Adagios - and saw your setup - superior! Hey, not bad for a beginner - no "@%*&"!! I was curious how long you researched before pulling the trigger on such great gear - do you know other audiophiles that gave guidance...etc. Anyway, nice rig.

Really nice gear! Got any pictures? Pass Labs are fantastic amps, I doubt you could go wrong with that choice. I have heard alot of great things about the RaySonic player.........I bet your rig sounds great.
