Description

So I moved and have finally been able to set up my system properly, I built all the panels myself and since its a dedicated room I can make it as ugly as I wish lol Trying to get ideas for cables and what to upgrade next. I have all the soundstage I could possibly imagine but ever since I built the panels I guess im hearing more of the system and less of the room, now I think my speakers sound a little boxy and ive lost a bit of that toe tapping stuff! HELP!

Clever use of the firewood box as a rack space.

Good for you that you have your space your way. Dream deferred for many.
Trust you have yet been experimenting with your use of room treatments. I have found it best to keep a combination of live and dead portions of the listening room.

Happy listening.

The room is most important - it's great to see you starting off correctly. Just be careful not to over treat.

What are your room dimensions? How many walls are external vs. internal? What is the ceiling height? How far do you sit from the speakers?
