How do you like the McIntosh/Dali combo? Have you tried any other amp or any integrateds with your Dali's? I have the Euphonia's and a Pass integrated, but have always been keen on trying McIntosh gear.

good choice.

Good observations Ltleo.

I did listen to the Wilson Sophias 2.0 and B&W Signature Diamond which have two very different sounds. With that experience, I still prefer the Dali 300 with my current system. The Signature Diamond tweeter though has killer imaging and outstanding details. Sophias which is my third time listening, still is not my cup of tea.

Hopefully I can listen to the mk2 soon.

sorry also i have compared the mk2 to the sonus, and they are tighter and cleaner. you wont get the bass with the sonus as you will with the dalis. they are two differnt speakers, but for the cost diff. you save with the dalis and to me, i do think they sound better. so you really do get more for your money. oh, and dali, stands behind their products. i got the new mk2s all of them for a free upgrade due to a defect in my org vs. so they just upgraded me at no extra cost. tell me of a company that does that?

well since i had the org 400 for a yr, i can really comment on them. i would say yes the new mk2 are much quicker, and the bass is really tight, with out the enlongated bloom. they really do offer a great sonic ride once you get your placement correct. i have noticed that my walls seemed to open up and i get opend sound, though the older vs had somehting these do not, and its hard to explain, i would say the mids as in the vocals were a little more gritty, more i dont want to say soul, just more of a body, where as the new ones are air, just clean crisp air. but not to a point where they are tingy as i would class the b&w's. i would really say listen to them. if you have heard the mentors and you like them, then you will love the new mk2 they are everything the mentors are and more. i would say the mk2 are very close the the eurphorias, just not as anliticl.

Ltleo nice system.

Are the difference in the 400mk2 bass and details a little bit improved or signficantly improved?

I've listened to the 400 and I really like the sound but wanted to continue listening to other speakers like Emerald Physics CS-2, Sonus Faber Cremona M, Marten Miles, etc.

ahh, i do see that i left off my speakers. well nobody is perfect. I am enjoying Dali helicon 400 mk2 for my fronts, the c200 mk2 for my center and w200 for my rears. though i might upgrade a little with speakers, it will be one of the following two, willson sophia's or hensons. but for now im still breaking in the mk2 after trading in my mk1's.

Speakers would be a nice upgrade.
