Just had my benchmark dac modded by Parts connexxion, with Burson opamps and fuse options. Bought Pure Music, this was a real improvement over Cog. I'm done with this.
Hi. My system benefits by adding tubes to it. My previos dacs have been an older Theta Pro Basic 2 and my Benchmark Dac 1. I really like the Benchmark (I still use it for headphone listening.) The EE dac is very detailed and the tube output shows it advantages in a greater soundstage and a bet warmer sound. I will keep the ee dac as my main dac. Morningstar audio has a money back policy and Bill is a good guy to deal with. I hope this helps you.
