Nice choice of gear. Maybe you could add some pics. Do you have a DAC?

What sub(s) do you have? All I saw on your system was a crossover.

System edited: Simplified and downsized system and the result was just perfect "in my room". The placement options afforded by the smaller monitors and subs work with the room far better than the full range Salon2's. The Gem should have a cult following. The dual midbass and front/rear tweeter design is so very very well done. Need to replace the integrated with seperates.

I don't get it. Are you running Salon 2s or 801s. Not meant has a know but I find it interesting that you are running such modest cables with such a high end setup. How did you arrive at that? I am thinking seriously of getting the Salon 2s. Have you experimented with biwire vs not?

The 801's dig deep especially when running between 50 and 300 watts. The best bass I've had since Klipschorns.

Mcintosh and the 800N didnt work well for me, I couldnt get any bass out of that speaker. The 801 however did interest me, especially the 801D. Do the 801's satisfy you in the low end and are you using a JL sub?

A power conditioner is definitly needed. I use a Chang Lightspeed but there are many available and with the dollars you have already spent you need the high quality surge protection and noise suppression. Also, I used to have a Sanus rack just like the one in your picture. I switched to Mapleshade products and have been very pleased with the results. They also sell inexpensive to expensive wire of very high quality.
