Description

This is a system that I listen to many hours every single day. Jazz, New Age, Blues, Rock etc. My therapy room is 11'x15' and the front ported Wharf's allow placement closer to the corners. They are very natural with low listening fatigue. I've "Bi-amped" them with both A+B speakers on my Yami engaged.

The Yamaha Receiver is the BEST sounding Yami amp they make--exceeding the much more expensive AVR's because there's no electronic junk in the signal path. The "CD Direct" bypasses all preamp electronics and sends the signal to a high spec op-amp for 110dB Signal to noise ratio. Additionally, this amp has a high dampening factor of 240 and huge dynamic power. This is one clean little dynamo amp!

Denon Changer is a must in my business as I'm a massage therapist and can't keep changing discs. Any suggestions with a substitute player/changer?

Audioquest Type 4 speaker cable is a fantastic entry speaker cable.

The monitors sit on pedestals made from 4" PVC pipe and crackle painted creme and gold to look "Old World".

I will be upgrading/evaluating a new pair of Wharfedale Evo2 10's which are a step up-line from the Diamond series. I love my Wharfedales. Not much is written about them.
