Description

goal was good quality peices, balanced together to present a pleasing audio experience

A) in a small room

B) on a reasonable budget

c) with a smile on my wifes face with how it looks in the room.

so far so good. cables are pnf symphony for speakers BJC for ic's. power conditioning is dedicated lines, quantum symphony, and a belkin pf30. i'd really like to hot rod this rig to the fullest before really evaluating. i feel it has real pleasurable potential. things on the list: for HT...nothing, it simply is spectacular. for 2 channel: source(looking at a PS1).

isolation(herbies). power(i have a wiremold strip, thinking of going with an audience rp1 and the strip. the blue circle peed al sea thingee really interests me as well. power cord( ps audio ac-3 for everything to start). lastly the room(thinking some resonators from acoustic systems intl.) it'll take some time, but worth it. for now i sit and enjoy. btw, it was mostly audiogon built and i can't thank everyone enough for their patience and assistance. d.

5 channel 140 watts into 4 ohm. smooth, strong, musical. seems a good match for the dreamcatchers.
    • Marantz SR-6003

Hey, I'm gonna setup something similar to your rig (Totem Dcatcher's driven by Marantz 6004)

My question is how well does your 6003 power the speakers WITHOUT your external multichannel amp?

Nicely done. I'm sure sure wife would be happy with the way you have decorated the room :-) And I am sure you are happy with the way the system plays music for you. Enjoy!!
