Description

The Creek/Epos combination is nothing short of AMAZING! I am playing my old CDs to find out what I've been missing all these years. This is my first experience with hifi equipment and I expect my system to grow considerably (albeit slowly). I'd like to find a CD input source that can accommodate CD-R(W) formats. I put my old JVC DVD player and Panasonic portable player to use in the meantime.

My old Polk R15s now serve as rears to my surround system. I have Polk M40s in front (they replaced a pair of 30 year old Jensens) and a new Polk C2 for a center channel. My old JBL subwoofer continues to pump.

Like most newbie's, I am bewildered (and sometimes amused) by the time, effort, and money devoted to cable. Two physics classes, six calculus classes, and a PhD in pharmacology did not prepare me the "cable challenge". Are there any reasons to look at anything more exotic than low-guage, sheilded, OF copper with gold-clad terminals?
