The actual system is still not finished.

I'm actually looking for the speaker and interconnect cables.

I have a Musical Fidelity A5 pushing a pair of Dynaudio Focus 220s, lots of power which is just what the 220s need. Nice sweet sound warm & lush not harsh at all. I'm good for awhile.

I have tried a ton of different speaker cables with my N804's
and would recommend bi wiring the mid/tweeter section with solid core copper cables.

I've found CV-6 to work well.
AQ Gibraltar cable seems to let too much detail through.

For bi wiring the bass, having a cable with low resistance is critical.
I use a 10 AWG silver plated cable.

I hooked up the A5 integrated to my N804s to give it a listen compared to my Rotel, and frankly I was very impressed. I think I might have to replace the Rotel soon.

Linuxtx,

I'm very happy with this setup. The music is very well spatialised and the emotion is really present. The only down-point would be a small lackness in the bass but again this is only minor.

Try to listen to this setup if you have the opportunity.

I have the Musical Fidelity A5 driving Von Schweikert VR-4jrs and it sounds good. But I have not had another decent amp to compare it to. I have not heard anyone review this amp who has compared it to a number of competitors. I am also interested in hearing feedback. I would also like to hear what people think of the phono stage on this amp.

Curious to hear your impressions of this setup. My N804s are driven by Rotel RB-991 (200WPC) but I am waiting on the A5 integrated to arrive for my office setup.
