System is always in a constant state of reconfiguration. Always swapping components seeking synergy. But this is the basic configuration that helps me listen to the music I love so much.
Standby components that I tend to swap are:
AMPS
(2) Cary CAD-50 monoblocks (not a good match for the Infinity panels)
(2) Lazarus H-1A tube/mosfet hybrid monoblocks (very nice on the Mid/Hi panels)
(2) Amber 70 run bridged mode as monoblocks
(1) Musical Designs D-75B
(1) Kinergetics KBA-75 Platinum
PREAMPS
Musical Designs SP-2B tube preamp
Lazarus Cascade tube preamp
Kinergetics KPA-2 Platinum
SPEAKERS
TURNTABLES
Dual 731Q
Thorens TD-165
Empire 208
CDP
Audiomeca Mephisto
CABLES/INTERCONNECTS
Various
And it's always fun inviting friends over to bring music for listening. Then maybe swapping in a component they brought over just for kicks.
Two configurations. Line out to tube preamp, or utilizing the onboard digital preamp direct to active crossover.

Two 8-10 cubic foot enclosures. Both with 2242HPL 18" drivers. Also have two custom cabs with single 2245's. And three custom 12 ft3 cabs with 2 x 2235's each.
Thanks for your inputs. Choices are interesting because I'm a bottom feeder having to buy what others cast off. Would like to try a Vimak transport. Don't know of any available. Is it a DP-1000 or DT-1000 model? I've run the Lazarus' in balanced bridged mode (200 wpc @ 8 ohm and 400 wpc @ 4 ohm). They control the bass towers very, very nicely and exceed the Levinson for overall bass. But the Levinson seems to be more three dimensional with a very deep, layered soundstage. Pick your poison...
