Description

system renders a natural sound with honest textures

& tones from low to high frequencies except for a

pronounced sibillance on vocals on some LP's not sure if

this is the recording or a system flaw.

nice quality bass but does not really hit the lower registers unless I connect a sub woofer (I have an M&K V1B

sub that I use on occasion).

I also have a shelter 501 mkII LO MC cart that I swap out

on occasion.

Turntable has a Teres wood platter & Teres reference motor

with battery supply, & a custom made drive belt.

home made cocobolo arm board & cartridge spacer(also cocobolo).

I also use a redpoint audio Anvil record weight to couple the LP to the platter.

Turntable stand is home made & weighs aprox. 200 lbs with

sand in the four legs.

I tend to play vinyl more than digital becasue I have spun

LP's my entire life & still prefer the sound over digital,

Also prefer tube sound (coloration?) over solid state sound.
