I'm looking for a system to step out of the audio ratrace. I have come down to two options, Redgum Audio system (on its way from Australia to audition), and this system with the new Green Mountain Audio Callistos. These are slowly breaking in, but I may have a winner here. The volume and bass attained by these speakers is quite spectacular. I need another 150 hours on these before I can really here them at their best.

The Cayin amp with external bias and focus (you HAVE to get this upgrade. Period.) makes me smile after all of my experimentation with single-ended (Cary, Audio Note, Bottlehead, ASL Tulip, Decware, among others). It's a great little amp for a small-room system.
