Description

A school budget starter system. For up grade, learning, and most of all enjoyment. I know it's no much but that's why I'm here; to learn. And WOW what an improvement from my previous Sony system. God bless Sony. And all my Frankenstein systems as a youth. It feels very clear, well detailed but so far seems to lack a certain emotional quality. So, I'm here to listen, learn and share.

What is your budget? Shindo second hand is still very, very expensive but has serious magic and quite an even linearity with just a touch of midrange bloom...the Aurieges is still quite expensive but incredible value for money. It also comes with (i have read consistently) an excellent phono stage.

Thank you. Any thoughts on tube preamps, integrated or dedicated phono pre, and tonearm cart combos? I have a TP16 for the Thorens but has a bent tube. Thought of replacing with a different material (carbon fiber?).

Audioquest Type 6 is very decent, however I would look at Signal Cable for very reasonable and good quality sound. Cheers

That is a very nice system...Good turntable, good potential for speaker cables and i like the NAD piece as well. I know Dynaudio by reputation but have not heard...good clean monitor. Very nice indeed! Congrats and enjoy.
