System edited: Ditched the DVD juke box and picked up a very nice Denon 3910 universal player. I like it a lot! I also added the MF Tube output buffer. I am waiting for the rest of my cables to arrive so it is not in the system yet.

It's actually not too bad. Carpet, 4 big recliners, and the Acoustic panels help. Plus the ceiling is fairly absorbent. However, it is a bright room. I am starting to put in a false floor and false walls (1/2" sheetrock and 2x4s) next week to make it more like your average room and give the sub woofer something to shake for movies.

Must be like an echo chamber with all those cinderblocks!
Do the acoustic panels help at all?
