Description

I recently bought the Thorens for a project to tweak with. It sounds pretty good even though it came with a cheap cartridge.

I am in the market for a new DVD player, hoping to find a Panasonic RP82 out there somewhere.

Thanks for looking!

Yes, I'd like to get the 598, but at $4000 it's out of my range. I am looking at the 47A though.

I really like the Bag End so far. The guy I bought it from used it with ML ReQuests. I think it integrates well, but I haven't had a chance to play around with position, etc. I have the LFE hooked up to it and my speakers set to "small" The original owner had his subs (he had 2) hooked up via speaker level connections off of his MLs.

Danish: Tell us more about the Bag End. I have Martin Logans and at one time considered the Bag End. I didn't get it, but never had the opportunity to audition it with the MLs. I was wondering how well it integrates with the Mls. Do you use it for 2 channel audio or HT only?

The latest Pioneer 47a is a great bang for the buck. You might consider proceed HPA amps.

Have you considered the Meridian 598 for DVD-V + DVD-A (as well as CD)? It's currently shipping.
