Description

This is our second home theater system. A bigger display than we have in our family room, but more modest audio gear. The strong point of this rig is definitely the B&W CDM-1NTs. While this room could use a bit of taming, the imaging and detail from these speakers never ceases to amaze me.

In the rack are two sets of sources and two processing systems. The Left stack of Meridian gear is actually driving a separate system on a different floor of our house (family room). You may also note two (2) satellite receivers and three (3) DVD players--this is also to drive separate systems.

On the side, I have an Apple Airport Express that's streaming Apple Lossless iTunes to both systems simultaneously. So we can crank up both systems for synchronized music on each floor.

The rack is something I knocked together as a temporary home, but I'm builing a new wider, lower cabinet from cherry this winter and will be happy to get that in place.

Next year (finances willing), a front projector and 96" screen will turn this into a bit more of a true theater.
