Description

I have also a Paradigm Studio CC and a pair of Paradigm Mini Monitors for the rear. The front left and right channels of the Onkyo feed into the SSP loop on the SFI Line 1. The Sub is hooked to the second pair of SE outs from the Line 1 into a pair of cheap 4m Straightwire cables. Crossover is 50Hz min and the volume on the sub is set quite low. Only to fill up the lowest lows.

I like my system a lot but would describe it as being a little warm in the bass region. This is probably a lot of room interaction and a little from the VD cables. Very clean low noise with minimal tube rush from the preamp. I will be moving to a new home in the fall and will begin building a dedicated audio/HT room and will take room interaction into consideration at that time. Living in an apartment I can't spank the system so don't have any idea what it sounds like cranked. I've had it up to perhaps half volume or a little better and the system was only begining to warm up, kinda scared me - had thoughts of an eviction notice running through my head.

I listen to just about everything, metal, jazz, blues, punk, classical, rock. I am not fond of top 40 music.
