With a system like this, I simply cannot believe that you are not using analog for a source.

Why?

The cabinets were custom built for the original owner by Tyler Acoustics based on a Lowther-USA bass reflex design.

What type of enclosure do have for the Lowthers?

Thanks Warren. Just replaced the PS Ultimate Outlet (that was on the digital components) with an Audio Magic Stealth Digital. I think my system has arrived as well. Must be magic.

it's not clear from your post. Do you have all your components plugged into your Stealth? If you do: separate your digital from analog. Audio Magic has a Digital Mini for you front end. Improvement in your sound will be major. I had all my electronics, initially, plugged into my Stealth. When I moved up to the Matrix I decided on the separation. My system has, since, arrived. peace, warren

I've used the RCS with a 300B amp (using Sophia meshplates) and now with the SE45 (Emission Labs type 45). The RCS has been great with both though I prefer the SE45.

Very interesting system. Most single driver aficionados that I have encountered are hard core analog. I'm curious about how the digital room correction works with your tubed components.

The Janis is driven by an Interphase 3 x-over/amp that is part of the W3 'system.' The crossover is at 100Hz with control for volume and phase. It's a 50w solid state amp. The Lowthers are run full bandwidth without going through the crossover.

Do you have a sub amp? What's driving the Janis?
