Description

After 3 years of trying different pieces and combos I am extremely happy with this system. It plays beautiful, emotionally satisfying/engaging, full range, holographic, high resolution music with incredible palpability. It, for me, truly gets to the soul of the music. The retail is around 27k and thanks to good luck, good timing and excellent new, used and demo deals I paid around 9k.

Sounds great, but I would can the stands and the sand filler. Not the way to go. Sand absorbs the bad and the good vibrations. You want to be thinking about resonance transference, not absorbtion. Star Sound Technology has stands that will take you to where no stand has taken you before. Also, I would purchase an Audio Magic Stealth Purifier. If you think your system sounds great now, just add that baby, and listen.

Very nice setup. I have a Hermes at the heart of mine as well, and she sings beautifully. When I got my Theta Pearl I was also shopping for an SFT-1 as well, but didn't have the cash to swing it. Did you have a chance to compare the SFT-1 to any other transports?
