This system is fairly modest compared to what is available in the high-end. Yet this system can produce musical magic in such a way that I don't find myself longing for a more ambitious system.
Probably the most significant players in this system are the speakers. Russell Knotts of JustRealMusic.com hit a homerun with these speakers. The midrange is spot-on with a magical purity, the treble is clean, fast and fatigue-free and the bass is tuneful. Other planars like Magnepan will play loudner with more slam. However, Russ Knott's put some magic in his speakers - the level of emotional involvement they provide goes beyond the sum of its individual merits.
If you decide to place an order with Russ, it can take a while since he is a one-man shop. But he has a good ear and serious design talent.
Transparent and punchy. Good dynamic drive for an integrated. Lacks the finesse of high-ticket items but is still musical with lots of power, several inputs and phono stage included.

Designed and built by Russ Knotts of JustRealMusic.com. Neutral, fast and mellow. Like all full-range planars- this speaker presents music in an organically whole manner. I would put this speaker against any other smallish full range planar.
