2022 I am moving on from being a devoted fan of Michael Kelly for almost 50 years first at a/d/s and then at Aerial Acoustics. I love every speaker he produced. I am diving into the Wilson family of loudspeakers with the acquisition of a pair of Wilson Audio Sasha 2. Traded up my beloved VTL MB 450's for the MK III's. The system sounds heavenly on quality source material.
2021 I Built a custom Maple, Mahogany, Ipe and walnut rack. with AC Infinity cooling fans for the amps and 8 Ceraball feet. Added Hydra Delta 6 with Shunyata AC cord. While I was skeptical, it actually removed an annoying background hiss I had and offered a surprisingly significant improvement.
2021 Finally I understand what High Resolution streaming is all about. I set up a Lumin U1 mini with Sbooster power supply using the ARC CD9 DAC input and I think I achieved streaming heaven. Roon runs my music library and streaming services, I LOVE ROON!

I Scored a Mint Audio Research CD 8 even better than my beloved CD7. The CD8 is conservatively one of the best pieces of audio I have ever owned, its simply magical!
The Stereoman is the caricature that was on the wall at the original Palm Steakhouse previously located at 837 Third Avenue.I got the nickname stereoman and URL after friends that I designed audio systems for kept calling me that name
2014
The time has come to try a new pair of speakers. I sold my beloved Aerial 10T's and replaced them with Aerial model 9 's.t was like saying goodbye to an old friend. The 9's are wonderful, but a lot different than the 10't that I have lived with for almost a decade. The recently added Audio Research CD7 MK II is an astonishing musical instrument Unfortunately I had to sell it after Sandy destroyed our basement. I did replace it with a CD5 which is very nice but no CD7. I also added an Oppo 105 Blu Ray
System edited: I added a Musical Fidelity V3 DAC to the Sonos in the main system, and I added a Carver 2000 to my workshop and Sonos ZP-80's to the systems in the Bedroom, Kitchen, workshop and my Son's room. Now I plan to make a copy of my 1400 cds from itunes onto an external 750gb hard drive and load them into the Sonos system PC server.
System edited: I added a hard wired three Sonos ZP80s to connect my systems in the Kitchen Bathroom Deck and Workshop and backyard to my PC music server and Main system. The Sonos sounds surprisingly good. Setup was a breeze and the wireless remote works great. The Sonos software pulls your music library from iTunes without a hitch.
System edited: The Mac pre and balanced cabling added an amazing depth and 3d soundstage and After fixing hum with a Jensen transformer for hum from cable TV line, this system is now where I want it. The asst PS Audio power cables did not solve the hum but may haved contributed to the new better overall sound. Matching MR 7084 tuner at Mac for for repair. Next move is CD3 MK II
