No space or $$ for multiple systems, so this is what I came up with to satisfy my music needs and the needs of TV / Movie viewing as well.
Upgrades? Apple Airport Express from IMac feeding Apple Lossless files to my stereo via an Optical Input on my CA 840cb. (remember me at Christmas!)
I believe in long-term system stability. This is the end of an upgrade / modification which took 3 years to accomplish, changing virtually every component out from my old system, which lasted 20+ years and was simply worn out.
System edited: Changed the Sony SXRD LCoS RPTV for a Panasonic Plasma. My Sony, at only 5 years was starting to show symptoms of the optical block going bad. I wasn't about to spend 300$ on a part for a DIY than another 100$+ for a new lamp, sooner than later. Nope. Cut my losses and went plasma.
