Description

I got into this about 3 years ago with a small Jolida hybrid integrated amp, a rega p3, and Totem Mites. Cables? What are those? Now it's been steadily growing and I think I'm settled for now, I hope. I bought 3 turntables. VPI Scout, Linn LP12 and Rega P9 and settled on the P9. A good way to stop all of the questions about which I liked better. If I move into a better room (10x10x8) I might change the speakers and amp. Maybe go to mono blocks or Rogues Zeus.

... like I said where does it end. Just when I thought I was happy, Totem comes out with THE ONE speakers and Rega comes out with a killer phono stage. Good for now.

After a VPI & LP12 I settled on this great table
    • Rega Apheta
    A wonderful cartridge all around
    • Jolida JD-100
So far I have no desire to change this CDP. I upgraded the tubes and it sounds awesome!

Great detail and tone! Had the Cronus first and love this even more.
    • Rogue Audio Stereo 90
    Smooth and undistorted.
    • Totem Storm
Mates nicely with the Arros for that extra kick
    • Analysis Plus Bi-Oval 9
A bit bassy compared to the Bi-Oval 12s but I'll stick with them for a while longer
    • LAT International IC-300s
Have these throughout the system. No complaints.
    • Totem Acoustics The One
Limited Edition Model 1, really nice! Very neutral. Added a nice bit of texture and wood to acoustic instruments.
    • Rega IOS
MC Phone Stage, Dead quiet, waiting on break in for more thoughts on the sound.
