Description

Plays everything from opera to metal to chamber to reggae to folk to rock to world....easily and with no glaring shortcoming.

I know that this is a dumb thing to say, but I think I'm done. Could I get more resolution if I bought a Caliburn? Or even an HR-X? Sure. Will I? No. Would the Aerial 20 outperform my 9's? Sure. Do I have the extra 25 grand to spend? Uh...no. Halcro or VTL to replace the MB500? Sure, if you want to give them to me. Etcetera...The room is a real killer. We spent a lot of time making it asmmetical in just the right ways. It's all handcrafted out of sustainably harvested woods in a Japanese style. The room sounds right.

The ceiling is really special. It's made of these 3/4 inch thick 18 foot long 20 inch wide pieces of old growth cedar that some guy found in a barn on the Oregon coast. They were cut at least 50 years ago and never used...till now!

I could go on and on, but instead I'll just go put on some vinyl.
