Description

The equipment is streamlined. The aim is to get the system out of the way to hear the music, not the system.

Flexibility for two-channel, multichannel and HT was another aim. The main speakers and front row seats can be quickly repositioned for two-channel listening.

The room is a modest 13'x17' with a tight 7' ceiling. Ceiling has been covered with acoustic foam, floor with a heavy wool rug and a carpeted raised platform for a second row of seating. Four CD/DVD storage shelves around the room and a some artwork finish it off.

Digital music server added december 2012. Using an older laptop with iTunes, a 1 TB hard drive for storage, optical connection from laptop to receiver.

System edited: New photos. Since adding a computer for music storage, organization and playback, I'm very pleased and surprised at how easy it was. I'm doubly pleased with the sound quality. Direct CD and computer playback sound identical.
