Description

No, Altec doesn't make plasma tvs. It's a Panny PT50GT50 that just so happens to share a stand with the stereo system. But, enough about the TV.

I've pretty much given up on stereos as I lost my stereo room to my daughter. But, I found this vintage Altec 601C based duplex monitor on ebay selling somewhat locally. I couldn't resist.

Finally, moved to a new place with a somewhat usable living room. Got the stereo set up on Elfa shelves. The rest of the system followed what suited the speakers.

That's pretty much the story. Sound is phenomenal with jazz and classical. Somewhat flat on pop and rock. Hope a tube change in the RWA amp will help. Otherwise, I am pretty much set equipment wise.
