Room resonances are death to good sound, so began with a new double-wide house with main room 26'w x 20'l x 10'h(8'@sides) or some 4444 cu ft.
Walsh speakers placed out in the open. Placement seems non-critical. Amp stays 20db under max yet plenty of sound, nice clean bass.
VLC media player using 'large hall' equalization. Reel to reels are in next room so need to drill hole in wall and possibly add a preamp to handle the tape machines.
