This is one I recently put together so actual humans (i.e. wife, kids, nanny) can play music. Also tubes don't do well round little kids!

I use an Apple Mac Mini as a digital source. Music is played simply by turning on the LFD integrated and selecting music via Apple Remote on the iPhone or iPad.
