Updated 7/06:

Getting closer -- I now have Niles volume controls wired throughout the house, and running speakers (small bookshelves and Niles in-ceilings). Can play our favorite FM station anywhere in the house and turn on/off and adjust volume. No remote control for changing stations yet.

My new external antenna (APS-9) really improves the Adcom tuner section, though I'd certainly consider getting a better tuner in the future for my main system.

This system is going to (not all hooked up yet) provide music in the various rooms in the house. We have mono 14 and 16 ga. wire run to all rooms.

Bought the Adcom just for this project, because different rooms can listen to different sources at once. I haven't really used it as a preamp yet, but have feeding one of it's tuners into my main system, and the tuner is not very selective, nothing to write home about.

The Rotel amp was replaced in my main system, idea is to light up two rooms first, and use the left and right channels to service two mono "zones".

Sources are same as may main system, will be attached with "Y"s into the two preamps.

I have spent a bunch of time working on remote control for this thing, and have spent a lot of time with JP1 and the wireless (RF) radio shack 15-2117.
