I have five dedicated lines of #10 Tray Cable. Each piece of equipment has it's own dedicated line. The analog equipment are all plugged into Richard Grays Power Company, which has its own dedicated line. 'The outlets are two FIM 880 for the monoblocks, three Wattagates 381 for the remaining.
I've grouped my equipment with its accompanied cables and accessories.
The Aurios Pros are amazing. Eventually, I would like to try them under each speaker.
What's your favorite style of Reggae? I grew up with Lover's Rock. HATED Dubwise when it first came out ie:Prince Jammie etc. I'm 44 and have about 39 years listening experience. Since I became an audiophool, I'm more discriminating of the artists I listen to.
Ericp, the base is made by VPI. I've listened to various turntables at CES and THE Show, as well as, around the SF Bay Area. I narrowed my choices to Basis or VPI. The VPI came up on Audiogon and the rest is analog history. The same was true for a phono preamp. I was looking for either a Audio Research, BAT, or Plinius. A number of audiogon members who are quite knowledgable about analog, provided me with excellent suggestions and direction.
Rosstaman I love the setup. Just wondering your tnt is sitting on a base who makes it, also I am looking for a new analog setup how do you like the bat and did you audition several tables before deciding on the setup.

Thanks for the power cord review. I have heard great things about the Shunyata, I guess I should try one. What do you do that you're able to live in God's country next to Yosemite? What a fantastic place to live.
Before I forget, I want to thank Audiogon and its members, for helping me throughout the years. Living in the mountains without a decent high-end store within a three-hour drive, makes the ability to demo and purchase equipment difficult. Not to mention that my livingroom, vs. the listening rooms at high-end audio stores in the San Francisco or Los Angeles area—are not in the same universe. So I've researched lots of information in the Audiogon forums, and a lot of you provided valuable advice.
The majority of equipment and cables, I bought from Audiogon members. I did purchase new: the ARC Ref. 2, Dyn's 3.3's, BAT PK-5, Alesis Masterlink, and the NBS Omega One cables and stands.

Audionut-I tried NBS Monitor IV, Synergistic Research Master AC, Black Mamba Power Snakes, now the Viper. The Viper was a step-up from the Black Mamba, lowered noise floor, blacker background and slight more bloom around the instruments.
Warrenh-It's a love hate relationship with all the windows. Love, because of the panoramic view of the mountains and setting sun. Hate, well I don't hate them, but I do have double curtains all around when I'm critically listening. Or consciously ignoring...
I can hear it now. Beautiful. No problem with those windows? I, however, am an Audio Magic guy, as far as my power (electric) goes. I use the Matrix and the Stealth Mini Digital for my front end. That would be a great thing for your system. If you've got anything left in that pocketbook of yours: check out the Matrix. You won't be dissappointed. peace, warren

What other power cords did you demo before you decided on the Shunyata's? And, are you using one on your Meridian, and if so, how did it affect the sound? Thanks.

System edited: I live in the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Yosemite Park. This house a typical mountainous home. The livingroom is 30' X 30' and 12' slightly-pitched open ceilings. The walls are rough-cut wood and there are huge plants in each corner of the room, as well as, large leather upholstry. There are also lots of windows. I have my Dynaudios at a 3.75" toe-in, so most of the sound is directed to the sweet spot, and not reflected off side walls, etc. (although, I do have a toe-in fetish, but that's for another thread). The soundstage focus and depth is very realistic. The FIM's permit the bass to go as deep as the recording allows, without any bright or harshness in the upper ranges. I have double curtains on all the windows. The photos do not show the curtains behind the equipment.

I have one picture with my dog (Keela, she is a Rhodesian Ridgeback) in front of the equipment. I have to borrow a friend's digital camera this weekend.
Pictures, we need pictures! Man, I was drooling by the time I got to the last piece of equipment and couldn't wait to see the pix, but no pix. Nice system...bet is sounds incredible. Would love to hear those Pass mono's.
