Description

Ok, after several iterations the system is done. Sound is open, transparent, and real. While many improvements can yet be done, now I can just relax and listen...

System edited: After adding Stello DAC and Squeezebox my CDP is rarely used, and CDs are covered in dust. Oh, where this world is heading to?..

Guys, I need DAC. What do you think would be the best match to the system above?

Thinking about Caravelles. But who knows how well would it work with my rig?.......

Well, being satisfied doesn't mean there is nothing to improve. You know, it's a kind of unstable equilibrium: it's good enough not to move further right away, though no one knows what will be tomorrow...
My favorites are...
- Further Attempts (Todd Garfinkle) from MA
- piano and guitar on Naim and MA releases
- Arvo Part, especially his Fratres (Telarc)
- medieval music, as of Dorian, as those semi-privatly recorded tiny local releases from Quebec
... etc.

Bravo! You have reached the point that may strive for and never reach. You have a satisifying system. What types of music do you enjoy to on this rig?

Thanks for the warm feedback. Sound treatment is on the To Do list, but I'm moving soon, so I'd better wait till then... :) I'm thinking about Revel B-15 sub, as it's very flexible, and can be matched to Revels quite naturally, but it's quite about a future...

Nice simple system. No fuss.

Have you considered sound treatment for your room? This is relatively inexpensive

Relax and enjoy I agree. I've had the M20's twice before and loved them both times. I envy your system right now. I'm sure the Sim mates very well.

very nice, indeed! the toughest question, of course, is: I am done yet? I think you got it right, relax, enjoy, and congrats...
