Recently moved to the active 3-way Dutch & Dutch 8c's with a Bacch4Mac purifier and ORC room correction. It is a very satisfying, full range presentation in my room.

The Geddes Abbeys are a controlled directivity waveguide design, intended to be positioned at 22 degrees off axis. In other words, the direct axis is crossing in front of the listener. The image is rock solid and the reverberant field is very controlled and stable this way. There are very low direct reflections from the adjacent side walls because the horizontal pattern is narrowly controlled at about 90 degrees.
I see your speakers are toed-in a lot. I assume you experiemented with different positions and like toe in the best. What is it that severe toe-in creates that is attractive (ie: largest sweet spot?). Cheers.
Thanks! No, I don't really have a cart collection like some here. Previously I was using a Zu Denon 103R Grade 2 which I thought was a pretty amazing cartridge for the money. The Hyperion was just a huge leap forward, which it should be, at the price. It's more precise and articulate at both extremes and much more believable in the mids, as the Denon was rather ripe there, though pleasant in its own way. The Soundsmith really gets the body of acoustic instruments right, which was very important to me for my music tastes.
I'm about to install the magnetic bearing upgrade for the Salvation, as well as the arm wand direct mount counterweights in the next week or so and am really looking forward to hearing the results. Vic continues to refine the last drops of goodness into this combo and somehow it just keeps getting better.
Congrats on the fantastic Trans-Fi TT. Currently I´m running the T3Pro on a direct drim driven soapstoned deck. Just curious, is the cactus cantilevered cartridge the best you ever had ?
Good Day Tms0425 How does the Hypex ncore1200 sound comparing to your previous amps? Do they work well with the DUDE!? I've ordered a pair of TRL600 (ncore1200 base) which will run with Allnic L5000DHT pre, Sasha speakers and Esoteric K01. I may get a custom DUDE with separate power supply (Paul's new creation!) to match with TRL600. Comment on this combo? The GTPR is on the list but it seems to be too big and heavy to post to AU! As a Geddes customer, it seems strange to me to see two sub symetrically placed against each side wall and Earl is a proponent of quasi-random sub placement, including one in a corner, one raised above the mid point of the the room's height and the 3rd stuck somewhere else . . . Can you tell me a bit about your approach to sub placement including any measurements and process taken? Also where do you have the CHT subs located and do they handle the same freq range and the Geddes subs?
Looks like a ton of RealTraps stuff in the front end of your room - is this correct as I don't see it listed in your equipment list? Are you using diffusion too?
System edited: Changed from Atma-Sphere MLS1/M60's to a TRL Dude and Hypex NCore 400 monoblocks. Added the VLN battery supply to the Audiophilleo 1. I recently got back into vinyl with a Trans-Fi Salvation rim drive and Terminator T3Pro air bearing arm, Zesto Audio Andros PS1, Zu Denon 103R. I'm now using 3 Geddes bandpass/PR subs and 2 CHT 18" sealed subs for ULF.

I can't believe your post is over a year old with no feedback. For cryin' out loud - you have essentially the system I'd want to put together if money were no issue! Noticing the date of your post makes me wonder if something came via an display of extraordinary Xmas spirit! Regardless, what a great system - thanks for sharing.
