well, i'm finally done and getting started at the same time. i'm still waiting for the speakers to arrive,it was the only thing i ended up buying new.can't wait to hear the whole system together.thank you guys for all your help.i won't be doing any upgrades at the moment, but would love to hear your opinions for later when i have some extra mney to spend.
Or so you think. The one thing you overlooked is the space you are listening in. I found a product called Aurelex it is an acoustic foam product that comes in many different forms for all applications. I highly reccommend that you visit the website and educate yourself. I recently bought about $200.00 worth of Corner fill Bass traps and some sound absorbing foam in the shape of 2" wedges. Let me tell you I have fallen for just about every tweak from expensive cables, power cords, power conditioners, balanced power, isolated grounds, and nothing even comes close to the sonic improvements acheived from treating my listening environment. As far as the look, they go out of their way to manufacture and design products that look as good as they make your system sound. Check out the list of clientelle and check the laboratory results of the testing that went into this stuff and compare it to the many other brands out there and what they claim to do and I am sure you will find out what I did. There is no other upgrade dollar for dollar that even comes close to this. You will thank me...
Opp, why o why do you want to go there, now? You haven't even listened to your new speakers. Sit back and listen to your tunes and enjoy. "later when I have some extra money to spend"--the skies the limit, posts galore, confusion to boot, and the beginning of the end of your system as it stands now.
